Wastewater Department Laborer position

The Village of Carrollton is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Wastewater Department Laborer position. This position performs tasks related to the daily operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant as well as maintenance of collection lines and lift stations. In addition, this position includes daily testing and completion of all required EPA documentation. Applicants must possess a valid Ohio driver's license, and have the ability to obtain an Ohio EPA Wastewater Operator's Class 1 operators license within the first two years of employment. Successful applicants must be able to pass a drug test and upon a conditional job offer, pass a criminal background check. This position offers a full benefit package including PERS Retirement, sick / vacation and family insurance with a starting salary of $19.00 per hr. Wastewater Department Assistant Superintendent

The Village of Carrollton is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Wastewater Department Assistant Superintendent. This position performs tasks related to the daily operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant as well as completion and maintenance of all required EPA documentation. In addition, this position oversees all department laborers. Applicants must possess a valid Ohio driver's license, an Ohio EPA, class I Wastewater Operator's license and knowledge of wastewater treatment plant operating procedures, chemistry and mechanical maintenance. Successful applicants must be able to pass a drug test and upon a conditional job offer, pass a criminal background check. This position. offers a full benefit package including PERS Retirement, sick / vacation and family insurance with a starting salary ranging from $22.00 to $25.00 hourly based on experience.
